About

Take the verve and acumen of activist and Nobel Prize Winner Wangari Maathai and combine it with the charming interpersonal skills of Obama turn the clock back to his twenties and you get some measure of Sunny Kay, Chief Wordsmith of ProjectSunshine, the main story maker of this blog for more than five years. For many readers of Project Sunshine, a PS post has been their passport to a world outside the one they inhabit – to where I live.work.play.create.
A Project Sunshine authored post is anchored in its strong human tales – but always lavishly decorated with fascinating firsts, reviews of people I admire, places I have been and eons of screenshots of people who are going very far – women who invariably changed their communities, news reports sprinkled with my commentary, organizations and causes of every shade and shimmer and ideas galore. Many of the subjects of my posts are at the early media days of their careers, and are leading lights whose inspiration often mirrors my own. Go to my Hall of Fame for some highlights. (Click Here)
My mission is to bring you snapshots of where I live and work. You will get to know me pretty well, coffee mug in hand, fingers on the keyboard ever at the ready to transport you to the next destination.

Hi Sarah. Looks like you’ve been blogging for a long time. I’m surprised I’ve never ‘bumped into’ you before. Glad I have now. Will be back sometime.
Thanks for visiting. Keep returning too.
